Acumatica ERP Administrator
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Acumatica ERP Administrator to own, manage, and optimize our enterprise software environment across multiple branches and modules. In this role, you will handle everything from system configuration and security permissions to custom workflows and advanced troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Acumatica ERP environment.
- Manage system setup, configuration, and maintenance across company branches, warehouses, inventory classes, item classes, and financial dimensions.
- Configure and maintain modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Manufacturing, and Project Accounting.
- Configure custom workflows, approvals, notifications, and automation schedules.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Own the Acumatica support queue by triaging, prioritizing, and resolving user tickets.
- Troubleshoot transaction errors, posting issues, workflow failures, and data discrepancies.
- Escalate complex issues to Acumatica support or implementation partners when necessary.
- Track recurring technical issues and implement long-term structural solutions.
- Create, modify, and maintain user accounts within the ERP system.
- Configure specific roles and security permissions to maintain data integrity.
- Conduct periodic user access reviews and support segregation of duties initiatives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of access controls, system permissions, and security configurations.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in the administration, support, and maintenance of Acumatica ERP.
- Expertise in configuring Acumatica core modules such as Financial, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Project Accounting.
- Ability to manage system configurations, security roles, user permissions, and custom workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving transaction errors, posting issues, and data discrepancies.
- Experience managing integrations, reporting tools, and system testing procedures within Acumatica.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to own a support queue and manage ticket intake effectively.
- Ability to track recurring system issues and design long-term technical solutions.
- Experience maintaining formal technical documentation for system access controls and configurations.
- Ability to monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
