Social Media Executive Assistant

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a versatile Social Media Executive Assistant to serve as a personal assistant to the business owner, managing day-to-day administrative tasks and the end-to-end social media content pipeline. In this role, you will handle email management and appointment coordination while actively editing and publishing engaging digital content. This position requires an organized professional who can seamlessly balance administrative operations with creative marketing workflows to support brand consistency and team efficiency.

Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business owner's inbox, responding to and triaging emails on his behalf.
  • Handle scheduling and appointment coordination, including managing messages related to bookings.
  • Edit short-form video content (reels) and create carousels and promotional graphics from existing footage.
  • Schedule and publish social media content in advance using Meta Business Suite.
  • Design internal promotional materials such as gym posters and member newsletters.
  • Build and maintain workflows and operational systems in Notion based on the owner's direction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media content creation, editing, and scheduling for a small business.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Notion or similar workflow and project management platforms.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all outputs.
  • Professional English written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, executing on high-level direction.
