HR Compliance & Onboarding Coordinator

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Compliance & Onboarding Coordinator to support daily human resources operations in a remote work environment. This role will focus on onboarding coordination, compliance record management, candidate screening, and HR administrative support. The ideal candidate has prior HR experience, strong organizational skills, and confidence working with compliance systems and documentation.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing business based in South Australia focused on maintaining high operational and compliance standards across their workforce. The company values organized processes, strong communication, and efficient HR support to ensure smooth onboarding, staff management, and compliance tracking across the organization.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM ACST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff onboarding processes including interview coordination, contracts, and onboarding documentation
  • Maintain staff compliance records in Brevity and ensure audit readiness
  • Conduct initial screening interviews for new hire candidates
  • Ensure all HR documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department
  • Coordinate with management regarding staffing updates and compliance requirements
  • Maintain organized digital records and confidential employee information
  • Support recruitment and administrative HR tasks as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR administration and compliance management
  • Proficiency with Brivity CRM or similar workforce/compliance systems
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Close attention to detail, particularly for audit and compliance documentation
  • Professional and confidential approach to HR-related matters

Nice-to-have

  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
  • Familiarity with Australian HR and compliance processes
  • Recruitment coordination or candidate screening experience
  • Experience handling onboarding workflows and HR reporting
