The client is a franchisor within the largest service-based franchise brand in the world, operating for nearly 40 years across multiple divisions with thousands of franchisees. They specialize in selling franchises throughout New Zealand and operate on a 6–7 week induction training cycle for new franchisees.
Job Overview
This role focuses on reactivating a large database of past leads who previously inquired about franchise opportunities but did not proceed at the time. The primary objective is to re-engage thousands of dormant leads through outbound calling, identify those now ready to move forward, and schedule appointments with the sales team. This position has strong potential to expand into a full-time role with additional franchisee onboarding responsibilities as the business continues to grow.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM NZST (with flexibility during peak response hours: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM)

Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to a large backlog of past franchise inquiries stored in HubSpot CRM to re-engage leads and assess current interest levels.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments with the sales team for interested prospects who are now ready to proceed with franchise ownership.
- Manually input lead data from the franchise management system into HubSpot CRM as needed to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with franchisee onboarding tasks including organizing stationary kits, coordinating police checks, and helping arrange public liability insurance setup (following established procedures and instruction sheets).
- Follow up with new and recent inquiries within a two-hour response window to maximize conversion rates during peak availability times.
Must-Have Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage leads professionally and persuasively over the phone.
- Proven experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound sales calling.
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
Nice-To-Have Requirements
- Experience working with franchise businesses or understanding of franchise sales cycles.
- Familiarity with lead reactivation strategies and nurturing cold or dormant databases.
