Skip Tracing & Lead Generation Specialist
Overview:
As a Skip Tracing & Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and contacting property owners regarding surplus funds recovery opportunities. This role combines online research, lead qualification, outbound cold calling, and administrative tracking to help generate new client opportunities for the business.
You will be responsible for locating property owners or their relatives, introducing services professionally, qualifying potential leads, and guiding interested prospects through the initial onboarding process. This position is ideal for a resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Schedule: 20 hours per week / Monday to Friday / 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST
Responsibilities:
- Perform skip tracing to locate property owners or their relatives using parcel IDs and available address information
- Conduct outbound cold calls to identified property owners to introduce the surplus funds recovery service and gauge interest
- Qualify leads by confirming property ownership details, collecting email addresses, and assessing willingness to engage
- Send contracts to interested leads and guide them through the initial sign-up process
- Maintain accurate records of all call activity, lead statuses, and conversion data in spreadsheets
- Schedule follow-up calls and calendar invites when leads request to speak directly with the business owner
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional phone manner is a must
- Prior cold calling experience with a demonstrated ability to engage unfamiliar contacts professionally in the real estate industry
- Experience with skip tracing methods and online research tools for locating individuals
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a startup environment
- Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving processes quickly
