Digital Marketing Generalist
Schedule: 20 hours per week, 9 to 1pm AEST
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility across New South Wales and Queensland
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Optimize and maintain the company's Google Business Profile and implement ongoing SEO improvements
- Plan, launch, and monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns to drive qualified leads
- Create and manage automated email marketing and SMS campaigns to nurture prospects
- Update and maintain the company website on WIX, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a digital marketing generalist, ideally within the construction or trades industry
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, paid advertising platforms, and social media marketing
- Experience with WIX website management and content updates
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the marketing function
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Scope
- Build out a full marketing strategy within the first two to three months, including channel selection and content calendars
- Establish and automate marketing workflows across email, SMS, and social media
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and refine messaging for specialist construction services
- Track and report on KPIs including website traffic, ad performance, lead generation, and social media engagement
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints and marketing materials
- Identify opportunities to expand reach into new platforms and channels as the business scales
