Social Media Assistant (Real Estate)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to handle their digital presence. You will be responsible for editing content, engaging with local communities, and driving lead generation efforts for a mortgage broking business across multiple platforms.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Edit and create engaging social media posts based on content provided by the business owner
  • Schedule posts and stories across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn on a daily basis
  • Conduct outreach to buyer's agents and real estate professionals via LinkedIn messaging
  • Monitor and reply to all messages and comments across all social media platforms
  • Join and engage in local Facebook community pages to increase brand visibility and generate leads
  • Post advertisements and promotional content in relevant Facebook groups

Requirements

  • Prior experience managing social media accounts for a business or personal brand
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn best practices
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to tone and brand consistency
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to follow structured daily schedules
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with content editing and basic graphic design for social media posts

Scope

  • Manage and grow three social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Follow a detailed daily and weekly task schedule with defined targets
  • Support community engagement and lead generation efforts for a mortgage broking business
  • Potential to take on light administrative tasks such as client follow-ups as the role evolves
