Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Procurement & Sourcing Coordinator to support sourcing and data management efforts across residential construction projects in the United States. This role is task-focused and designed to take ownership of procurement-related activities currently handled by senior team members, including subcontractor and material sourcing. The position reports directly to the COO and is intended to improve efficiency by centralizing sourcing, database management, and research processes, including the use of AI tools. Additionally, the role will provide light technical support through AutoCAD for quick architectural details when needed

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST, includes a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify and research subcontractors for different trades
• Source and compare material suppliers and pricing
• Support outreach to subcontractors and vendors
• Collect and organize quotes

Database Management

• Build and maintain subcontractor database
• Maintain material pricing and supplier database
• Ensure data accuracy and accessibility

AI & Research Optimization

• Use AI tools to identify subcontractors and suppliers
• Improve sourcing efficiency through automation

Technical Support (Secondary)

• Prepare quick architectural drawings and details in AutoCAD
• Support drafting needs as required

Estimation Support

• Provide structured sourcing data to the estimation team
• Support preconstruction research activities

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering courses (or currently in final year)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Experience or familiarity with US-based Single Family Home (SFH) construction
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Interest in construction, procurement, and estimation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Buildertrend or similar platforms
• Basic understanding of procurement processes
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and automation tools
• Experience in construction or estimation, preferably with US-based SFH projects
