Content Creator and Social Media Manager
Overview:
Our client is an entrepreneur looking for a creative and resourceful Content Creator VA to support their growing online presence across social and marketplace platforms. This is a part-time role ideal for someone equally comfortable behind a video editor and inside a design tool — someone who can take raw content and turn it into polished, engaging visuals across multiple channels.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM MST / Part-Time, 20 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Short-Form Video Editing
- Edit raw footage into engaging short-form videos for TikTok and Facebook
- Add captions, transitions, music, and on-brand text overlays
- Optimize content format and pacing for each platform's audience
Product Listing Graphics & Thumbnails
- Design eye-catching thumbnails and infographic-style images for Amazon and/or Shopify listings
- Ensure visuals meet platform specs and clearly highlight key product or service features
Graphic Design
- Create branded graphics for social media posts, paid ads, and promotional banners
- Maintain visual consistency across all content in line with brand direction
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish content across TikTok and Facebook
- Organize a content calendar and maintain a consistent posting cadence
- Monitor basic engagement and flag performance trends to the client
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience editing short-form video content (portfolio or samples required)
- Proficient in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve for video
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator for graphic design
- Strong eye for aesthetics and current social media trends
- Self-starter who can manage their own workload across a 20-hour week
- Reliable internet connection and clear communication
Nice to Have:
- Background working with product-based or marketplace-driven content
- Basic understanding of what makes a listing visual convert, not just look good
What Success Looks Like:
- Consistent, on-brand content going live on schedule without the client having to micromanage
- Listing visuals that are polished, platform-compliant, and built to perform
- The client feels confident their brand looks cohesive and professional across every channel
