Outbound Sales Representative (Commercial Construction & Fit-Out)

Job Overview

Our client is a premier regional commercial construction and fit-out specialist focusing on high-end private schools, clubs, hospitality venues, and RSL facilities across New South Wales and Victoria. We are seeking a high-volume Outbound Sales Representative to act as the front-line engine for their sales pipeline. In this role, you will conduct aggressive cold calling to identify renovation opportunities—such as bathroom, bar, dining space, and classroom fit-outs—specifically within live operational environments. Your goal is to bypass gatekeepers, engage decision-makers, and book qualified appointments for the senior sales team.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week) Note: Aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Outreach: Conduct approximately 200 outbound calls daily to schools, clubs, RSLs, and hospitality facilities to generate qualified leads.
  • Prospect Qualification: Engage decision-makers using discovery questions to identify renovation needs, project timelines, and budget readiness.
  • Appointment Setting: Successfully book and hand off qualified appointments to the senior sales team for closing.
  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with prospects at strategic intervals to nurture long-term relationships and capture future project opportunities.
  • Value Proposition: Effectively communicate the company’s unique expertise in managing renovations within "live" environments (minimizing disruption to operational schools or venues).
  • CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of call activity, prospect data, and follow-up schedules to ensure no opportunities are missed.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Solid experience in outbound telemarketing, cold calling, or high-volume business development.
  • Communication Mastery: Ability to engage professionally and persuasively with high-level decision-makers over the phone.
  • Resilience & Drive: Self-motivated with the discipline to maintain high-volume call targets and handle the rejection inherent in cold calling.
  • Market Knowledge: A quick learner capable of articulating technical fit-out concepts (bars, bathrooms, classrooms) to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling in the construction, facilities management, or commercial renovation industries (Highly Preferred).
  • Familiarity with the Australian commercial construction market, particularly the school and hospitality sectors (Preferred).

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations

Note

Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording.
