Hospitality Operations & Business Support Coordinator

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Hospitality Operations & Business Support Coordinator to provide high-level, strategic support across multiple business functions. This is not a traditional task-based role; it is designed for a collaborative partner who can think ahead, take initiative, and bridge the gap between leadership vision and operational execution. You will work across diverse departments—including operations, HR, marketing, events, and business development—to streamline workflows and support the efficient scaling of the business. 

Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST - 40 Hours per week (No Break)

Responsibilities

  • Executive & Operational Support: Manage complex calendars, email correspondence, and scheduling; organize workflows, reports, and documentation to ensure timely task execution.
  • HR & Recruitment: Post job advertisements on platforms like Seek and social media; screen and shortlist candidates; coordinate interviews and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Business Development & Events: Research new partnerships and opportunities; support event logistics, applications, and timelines; and assist in planning new initiatives.
  • Marketing & Research: Support social media content coordination; conduct market research on suppliers and products; and assist with general business support tasks.
  • Liaison & Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.

Requirement

  • Industry Expertise: Proven background in the hospitality industry, ideally with direct experience within the restaurant sector
  • High level of proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability as a self-starter who can work independently and anticipate leadership needs.
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or Project Coordinator is highly preferred.
  • Someone with a bubbly personality or someone conversational
