Recruitment Specialist (HR)

Job Overview

Our client is hiring a Recruitment Specialist (HR) to help support growth across their teams. This role sits under the Talent & Human Resources umbrella and works closely with the Chief of Staff to maintain a disciplined, scalable operating system for recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and talent lifecycle processes. You will help operate both the candidate pipeline and the "machinery" of Talent and HR workflows, ensuring they are clear, fair, efficient, and aligned with company culture.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Cancun EST, with 30 minutes paid break (40 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Operations Support: Coordinate multi-step recruitment funnels including intake notes, JD drafts, screening coordination, interview scheduling, and offer logistics. Administer skills assessments (TestGorilla) and perform exhaustive background checks.
  • HR and Talent Process Administration: Document and update SOPs in Notion; maintain onboarding/offboarding checklists; execute performance review and 360 review cadences; and manage data standards in HR Partner to ensure clean records.
  • Process Monitoring & Improvement: Track metrics such as time-to-fill and conversion rates; flag bottlenecks to the Chief of Staff; and periodically audit processes from a candidate/new-hire perspective to improve clarity and fairness.
  • Support to Leadership: Act as an operations partner to the Chief of Staff; prepare briefs on pipeline snapshots and key risks; and manage the logistics of hiring and review cycles so leaders can focus on decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or people operations support in a high-performance environment.
  • Familiarity with structured hiring processes (interview stages, assessments, reference checks).
  • Strong process mindset with high organizational and documentation discipline (checklists, SOPs, and trackers).
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Strong technological acumen and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Qualifications

  • Spanish proficiency (spoken and written) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting the rollout of HR and Talent systems or tools (Preferred).
  • Exposure to membership-based or donation-driven organizations (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with 360 reviews and performance management frameworks (Preferred).
