Controller (NetSuite | Healthcare Experience Required)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, deep expertise in NetSuite, and experience within a U.S. healthcare environment.

This role will play a critical part in managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvements across the organization.

• Full-Time | 8AM-5PM Eastern Time Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions
• Supervise and support the accounting team, including bookkeepers
• Optimize and maintain financial systems, particularly NetSuite
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting/finance role
• Strong expertise in NetSuite (required)
• Experience working with U.S. healthcare companies (required)
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and accountability
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience in multi-entity or high-growth environments
• Background in process improvement and financial system optimization
