Our client is seeking a high-energy Evening Operations Coordinator to serve as the logistical backbone for a meaningful business that reunites families with their pets. This role offers genuine autonomy and decision-making authority as you become the primary point of contact for customers, drivers, and sales teams during critical evening hours. You will own the entire post-sale logistics process, solving problems independently and ensuring seamless operations that directly impact customer satisfaction and business success.

Based in Philadelphia, our client is a growing pet transportation company specializing in domestic and international relocations. They handle everything from shelter-to-customer deliveries and breeder transports to helping families relocate with their beloved pets. The business operates with a high-touch, personalized approach, ensuring every journey is handled with extreme care and precision.

Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM ET, with 1 hour unpaid break (35 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Issue Resolution: Handle all customer inquiries and concerns during evening hours with full authority to resolve issues independently.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage end-to-end operations for pet transport moves following the initial sale.
- Driver Dispatch: Locate and communicate with drivers throughout their routes, ensuring optimal coordination and timing.
- Route Optimization: Build efficient multi-stop routes for drivers to maximize productivity and service coverage.
- Service Arrangement: Organize additional services, such as boarding facilities, when transport logistics require them.
- Financial Management: Process final invoices, manage payment collection before delivery, and process driver payments upon job completion.
- Communication Management: Monitor customer platforms and provide timely, professional responses to all stakeholders.
- Sales Support: Handle pricing inquiries from the sales team, providing accurate quotes based on distance and route complexity.
Requirements
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to handle customer calls professionally and confidently.
- Problem-Solving: Strong independent decision-making skills and a comfort level with resolving complex issues on the fly.
- Geography Skills: Solid understanding of maps, geography, and drive-time calculations between major cities.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn pricing structures, route optimization principles, and invoicing processes.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience with a demonstrated ability to resolve conflict effectively.
- Logistics Context (Bonus): Experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or general logistics is highly regarded.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
