Venue Coordinator

Job Description:

You’ll be the relationship-building engine of a thriving creative business, connecting with restaurant owners and venue managers to bring unique workshop experiences to their locations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys making meaningful connections, has excellent phone skills, and wants to contribute to expanding a business that combines creativity with hospitality. Your outreach efforts will directly result in new workshop locations and increased revenue, while helping restaurants attract new customers through engaging artistic experiences. 

Client Overview:

This growing business hosts unique painting workshops at restaurants where customers eat, drink, and create art simultaneously. With 30 active hosts across Canada and expansion plans into the United States, you’ll be building the partnerships that fuel this creative venture’s growth and bring memorable experiences to new communities.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm Eastern

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound phone calls to restaurants and venues to pitch workshop partnership opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venue managers and decision makers
  • Coordinate with venues to schedule and book painting workshops that work for their operations
  • Follow up consistently on leads and maintain organized records of all outreach efforts
  • Work within assigned geographical territories to maximize coverage and efficiency
  • Present the value proposition of workshops that drive customer traffic and revenue for venues
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure smooth handoff of booked venues
  • Support expansion efforts into new markets including potential USA territories

Requirements:

  • Excellent English speaking and communication skills for professional phone conversations
  • Sales, outreach, or business development experience with proven results
  • Comfortable making cold calls and building rapport quickly with new contacts
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple venue relationships and follow-up schedules
  • Professional phone manner with persuasive communication abilities
  • Experience with CRM or contact management systems for tracking leads and relationships
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for phone-based outreach
  • Bonus if you have experience in restaurant, hospitality, or event industry sales
  • It helps if you’re familiar with creative or entertainment business models
