Job Description:
You’ll be the data backbone for commission processing operations, ensuring every dollar flowing through the business is accurately tracked and reconciled. This role puts you at the center of financial operations where your analytical skills directly impact the company’s bottom line. You’ll work with multiple insurance carrier portals, standardize complex data sets, and maintain the financial accuracy that keeps the business running smoothly.
Client Overview:
A growing insurance brokerage specializing in health and Medicare plans across multiple states. They work with major carriers like Aetna and United Healthcare while supporting a network of 25+ agencies underneath them. The company operates in a fast-paced environment where accurate financial data drives critical business decisions.
Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hours per week); Arizona timezone hours required, especially during initial training period; potential for additional hours during onboarding phase. 9am-6pm Mountain Standard time, and 9am-6pm Eastern Time

Responsibilities
- Access insurance carrier portals (United Healthcare, Cigna, etc.) to download commission statements matching bank deposits
- Organize and save commission data to Google Drive using standardized naming conventions
- Apply data processing templates and formulas to standardize commission information across multiple carriers
- Monitor built-in error checking systems and escalate discrepancies when needed
- Upload processed commission data to Salesforce using data loader tools
- Update accounting spreadsheets with unique tracking identifiers for financial reconciliation
- Balance commission payments against bank statements to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting team to streamline data processing workflows
- Adapt templates and processes as carrier systems evolve
Requirements
- You bring intermediate Google Sheets knowledge including formula building and function understanding.
- You’re comfortable with Google Drive file organization and have strong attention to detail for data reconciliation work.
- Bonus if you have an accounting background or bookkeeping experience.
- It helps if you’ve worked with Salesforce before, though we’ll train you on our specific processes.
