IT Support Technician (Managed Service Provider Environment)

About the Role
We are seeking a Level 1–2 IT Support Technician to join a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling end-user support across multiple clients, managing tickets, and providing both chat and phone-based technical assistance. You will play a key role in ensuring timely issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1–2 technical support to end users across multiple client environments
  • Handle support requests via chat, ticketing systems, and phone support
  • Troubleshoot common IT issues including user access, software, and basic network issues
  • Manage and update tickets using PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask)
  • Work within multi-tenant environments, supporting multiple clients simultaneously
  • Escalate more complex issues to higher-level technicians when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and client interactions
  • Ensure timely response and resolution in line with SLAs

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in MSP or IT support environments
  • Experience with PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask or similar)
  • Experience with RMM tools (remote monitoring & management platforms)
  • Experience supporting multi-client environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (desktop, software, basic networking)
  • Strong English communication skills (especially for phone support)
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup

Nice to Have

  • MSP experience (highly preferred)
  • Spanish language skills (a plus)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPNs
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.)

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
