Job Overview
This is a part-time outbound sales role focused on qualifying AI-generated leads through high-volume calling and appointment setting. The specialist will contact approximately 150 leads per week to separate qualified prospects from unqualified ones, achieving a target conversion rate of approximately 25 actionable leads weekly. The role requires persistence, strong phone presence, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining professionalism and consistency throughout the calling process.

Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to AI-generated leads to assess their interest level and qualify them for equipment financing services.
- Document all call outcomes, lead responses, and qualifying information in the designated CRM system or spreadsheet with detailed notes.
- Identify prospects who are ready to submit applications, require follow-up in the future, or need additional information materials.
- Gauge prospect readiness by asking qualifying questions about their equipment financing needs, timeline, and current purchasing plans.
- Maintain consistent calling activity to process a minimum of 160 leads per week during the 20-hour work schedule.
- Record calls and update lead status to enable effective follow-up campaigns including direct mail and email sequencing.
- Separate high-potential leads from low-potential prospects based on established qualification criteria.
- Report actionable leads to management via email for immediate follow-up on application-ready prospects.
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven cold calling or outbound sales experience with demonstrated results in high-volume calling environments.
- Excellent English communication skills with clear articulation, strong phone presence, and professional delivery that represents the business effectively.
- Experience handling rejection and pushback from prospects while maintaining persistence and professionalism throughout the sales process.
- Understanding that sales is a numbers-based activity requiring consistent effort to achieve conversion ratios.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established processes and reporting requirements.
- Comfortable using CRM systems to update client records, log call notes, and track follow-up activities.
- Availability to work 20 hours per week on a consistent schedule in Pacific Standard Time.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience in B2B appointment setting or sales development representative roles.
- Familiarity with equipment financing, heavy equipment industries, or commercial lending products.
- Previous experience working with online dialers such as JustCall, RingCentral, or Google Voice.
- Background in qualifying leads generated through AI or automated lead generation systems.
- Proven track record of converting cold leads into appointments or qualified opportunities for senior sales staff.
