Senior Marketing Operations Manager – Sports Franchise Network | Remote | Strategic Role

Job Description:

You’ll serve as the strategic marketing bridge between franchise owners and specialized marketing contractors, directly impacting the growth of multiple businesses simultaneously. This role puts you at the center of a dynamic franchise network where your marketing expertise will guide franchise owners through lead generation challenges, campaign optimization, and strategic decision-making. You’ll combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to help franchise businesses maximize their customer acquisition while coordinating with best-in-class external specialists. 

Client Overview:

A rapidly expanding sports coaching franchise network that empowers young athletes across multiple countries through innovative training programs. The organization operates a distributed franchise model with locations spanning Australia, the UK, and the US, providing comprehensive support to franchise owners in growing their local businesses through strategic marketing guidance and operational excellence. 

Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours per week); flexible hours across multiple time zones with regular franchise consultation sessions but ideally between 11 AM to 8 PM UK -  Monday - Friday

  • Client Timezone: Multi-timezone operation (Australia, UK, US)

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary marketing consultant for franchise owners, addressing daily questions about lead generation, campaign performance, and growth strategies
  • Analyze and report on key marketing metrics including cost per acquisition, cost per lead, conversion rates, and landing page performance across multiple franchise locations
  • Coordinate with specialized external contractors (SEO agencies, paid search agencies, graphic design teams) to execute comprehensive marketing strategies
  • Provide strategic marketing guidance and actionable feedback based on campaign data and performance analytics
  • Monitor and optimize marketing campaigns across paid search, SEO, social media, and local marketing channels
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems that track marketing performance across the entire franchise network
  • Conduct regular strategy sessions with franchise owners to identify growth opportunities and address marketing challenges
  • Translate complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights that franchise owners can understand and implement

Requirements:

  • 5-6+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated progression in responsibility and strategic thinking
  • Previous experience as head of marketing for a small team or senior role within a marketing department
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO principles
  • Proven ability to interpret marketing metrics and translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and people skills with ability to adapt explanations to different audiences and technical levels
  • Experience working with external contractors and agencies in a coordination or management capacity
  • Bonus if you have account management or client-facing experience in a franchise or multi-location business environment
  • It helps if you have experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, or franchise business models
