Outbound Sales Representative (Educational Training Events)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm,

Responsibilities

  • Make approximately 200 outbound calls per day to schools across New Zealand
  • Follow up on email campaigns sent to school principals and educational leaders
  • Promote and book registrations for AI breakfast events and training sessions
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets with school contact information and call outcomes
  • Verify and correct principal names, email addresses, and other contact details
  • Track registration status and follow up with schools that haven’t registered
  • Conduct multiple follow-up calls until receiving definitive responses (yes, no, or maybe next time)
  • Complete daily summaries and administrative tasks
  • Send follow-up emails to schools to answer questions and provide additional information
  • Manage booking process through Google forms and registration systems

Requirements

  • Fluent English communication skills with neutral accent preferred
  • Confident and approachable personality suitable for cold calling
  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain persistence
  • Experience with outbound calling and lead generation preferred
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet management and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in New Zealand time zone (9am-3pm core hours)
  • Professional phone manner suitable for speaking with educational leaders

Scope

  • Part-time position (20 hours/week) with potential to grow to full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Opportunity to expand role into email marketing and administrative support after initial training period
  • Approximately 100 training sessions/events to promote throughout the year
  • Work remotely using provided dialer system and tools
  • Potential for role growth and additional responsibilities based on performance
  • Month-to-month arrangement with ongoing opportunities for professional development

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
