Job Description:
You’ll be the research engine and administrative partner behind a successful consulting practice. We need someone who is administratively sound—proficient in Google Drive, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office, and professional file management—while using investigative skills to uncover companies that organize corporate travel and large-scale events. This isn’t just data entry – you’ll be building comprehensive prospect databases that directly fuel business growth. You’ll work closely with the consultant to identify decision-makers, compile actionable lead lists, and potentially grow into prospecting and outreach activities as the engagement evolves.
Client Overview:
Join a dynamic consulting practice that helps companies optimize their corporate travel and event spending. This growing consultancy specializes in contract negotiation and cost reduction strategies, with a particular focus on group travel, conferences, and corporate meetings. You’ll play a direct role in identifying high-value prospects and building the sales pipeline for this expanding business.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM. Can be slightly negotiable (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Executive Admin Support: Provide general administrative support using Google Workspace tools (Drive/Docs/Sheets), Windows Explorer, and Microsoft Office to maintain organized file systems.
- Targeted Web Research: Conduct targeted web research to identify companies participating in group travel, conferences, and internal corporate events (distinguishing them from public conferences).
- List Building: Build qualified prospect lists using lead generation platforms like Apollo and similar tools.
- LinkedIn Strategy: Perform advanced LinkedIn research using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to search groups and keywords.
- Decision-Maker ID: Identify key decision-makers at target companies including event coordinators, executive assistants, and administrative staff.
- Data Organization: Compile and organize research findings into comprehensive, actionable, and administratively sound lead databases.
- Database Maintenance: Generate thousands of qualified leads across ongoing multi-month projects and maintain detailed records.
- Adaptability: Adapt research strategies based on evolving project requirements and feedback.
- Outreach: Potentially assist with email prospecting and outreach campaigns as the role expands.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience with lead generation and web research methodologies.
- Administratively Sound: Strong administrative capabilities with Google Workspace suite and Microsoft Office; high attention to detail in file organization.
- Strategic Judgment: Able to do independent research and judgment calls in identifying high-intent spending signals in recruitment criteria.
- Tool Proficiency: Active LinkedIn account and strong LinkedIn research capabilities (Sales Navigator) and familiarity with CRM systems and lead generation software (Apollo experience preferred).
- Soft Skills: Ability to follow detailed directions while being adaptable and creative in approach.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with the Clay.com platform.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in B2B research or corporate travel industry knowledge is a plus.

Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
