Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Zoho One Developer to optimize, customize, and expand their existing Zoho ecosystem. This role is focused on supporting Zoho G6 applications, consolidating workflows, and streamlining multiple business functions—including sales, finance, logistics, and operations—into a unified, efficient system. You will be the technical lead responsible for eliminating app sprawl and ensuring all departments operate within a synchronized, high-performance environment.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Zoho Customization & Support: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the full Zoho One suite (CRM, Books, Inventory, Analytics, Creator, Projects, Flow, People, etc.).
• Advanced Automation: Implement Deluge scripting, automation rules, and complex workflows to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• App Consolidation: Audit existing processes to identify overlapping functionalities and consolidate workflows into core platforms to reduce "app sprawl."
• Integration & API Development: Build robust automations and API integrations between Zoho One and external systems such as Xero, Shopify, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
• Custom App Building: Develop custom Zoho Creator applications to solve unique operational challenges not covered by out-of-the-box tools.
• Data & Analytics: Manage data migration and cleansing; develop sophisticated KPI dashboards and data-driven forecasting models using Zoho Analytics and Zia.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to document and redesign workflows, recommending system enhancements that improve operational accuracy.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience across the Zoho One ecosystem and expert-level proficiency in Deluge scripting.
• System Integration: Proven track record of successful API integrations and custom function development.
• Business Logic: Solid understanding of business process automation across supply chain, finance, sales, or HR.
• Australian Compliance: Experience working with Australian businesses, including familiarity with GST, BAS, and local invoicing standards.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.

Qualifications & Bonus Skills

• Experience with third-party payment and e-commerce integrations (e.g., Stripe, Shopify).
• Background in ERP-style implementations within the Zoho environment.
• Familiarity with Zoho’s AI features (Zia) and advanced forecasting tools.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

• Percentage of manual workflows successfully automated.
• Measurable reduction in duplicate apps and third-party tools.
• Speed and accuracy of cross-departmental reporting and forecasts.
• System uptime and technical support resolution performance.

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own high-performance computer capable of handling development environments and a reliable internet connection. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
