Senior Social Media Manager
Job Overview
Our client is hiring a highly experienced Social Media Manager to own their content engine end-to-end. This role focuses on turning long-form recordings into high-performing short-form content, crafting strong hooks and titles, and publishing consistently across all major platforms.
You’ll be responsible for content strategy, editing direction, publishing, and performance optimization—ensuring content is seen, shared, and drives booked calls. Ideal for someone who moves fast, has strong editing instincts, and understands how to package content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM CST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

- Identify strong moments, build tight narratives, and create scroll-stopping hooks
- Produce multiple cut-down versions from the same long-form asset (different hooks, angles, pacing)
Editing & AI Workflows
- Use AI tools to accelerate editing, captions, b-roll, reframes, and content variations
- Maintain a consistent, on-brand editing style (pacing, captions, zooms, b-roll, sound)
- Optimize titles, captions, and thumbnails based on performance data
Publishing Across Platforms
- Publish consistently to TikTok, Instagram Reels, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Manage scheduling, captions, hashtags, cover frames, and light community support
- Ensure correct formatting per platform (ratios, safe zones, captions, length)
Content Systems & Organization
- Build and manage weekly and monthly content calendars
- Create organized workflows for asset storage, naming, versioning, and approvals
- Track published, scheduled, and revision-required content
Performance Optimization
- Track weekly performance metrics: views, watch time, saves, shares, follows, profile clicks, and booked calls
- Run simple A/B tests on hooks, titles, covers, and posting times
- Report performance wins, misses, and recommended adjustments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and content repurposing editor in the dating industry (portfolio required)
- Strong understanding of platform-specific editing and content packaging
- Demonstrated ability to repurpose long-form content into short-form at scale
- Comfortable using AI tools for editing and production workflows
- Excellent writing skills for hooks, titles, captions, and brand voice

- Experience managing multi-platform posting at volume
- Basic graphic skills for thumbnails or covers (Canva is sufficient)
- Direct-response mindset (content that drives leads—not just views)
