Job Description:

You’ll create engaging social media content and marketing materials that help connect educational services with diverse communities. This role offers creative freedom to design everything from social media graphics to company promotional materials, with the unique opportunity to work on both English and Chinese content. You’ll be an essential part of the marketing team, bringing educational concepts to life through visual storytelling. 

Client Overview:

A growing education company that reaches audiences across the US and China through compelling visual design. They’re building brand recognition in multiple international markets and need creative talent to bring educational concepts to life through visual storytelling. 

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 3 fixed hours of overlap in PST and an additional 5 hours of independent work each day. Preferred overlap start time is around 2:00 PM PST.
• Client Timezone: Pacific Time (California)

Responsibilities:

• Design social media materials and graphics for multiple platforms
• Create company posters and promotional materials
• Develop visual content for marketing campaigns
• Polish and enhance existing marketing materials
• Design content for both English and Chinese-speaking audiences when needed
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials
• Collaborate with marketing team on campaign concepts

Requirements:

• 1-2 years minimum experience in social media graphics and content design
• Can communicate clearly in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media and marketing design work (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Understanding of social media design best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bonus if you’re bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese
• It helps if you have experience with educational or multicultural content
