Data Analyst
Overview
The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in interpreting data, analyzing the results, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth and optimization. This role requires a mix of technical and soft skills, with a strong emphasis on business acumen, communication, and advanced analytical techniques.
Scope:
- 40 hours a week
- Monday to Friday 9AM - 6 PM EST with one hour unpaid break
Responsibilities:
- Assist management in collecting, reporting, and analyzing data-driven insights on key business metrics.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and recommendations.
- Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track business KPIs.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to perform quantitative analyses.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly cleaning and validating datasets.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel (must have own software license already installed on your computer).
- Proficiency with SQL and database management.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business KPIs.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use and navigate different online platforms (CRM, accounting software, etc).
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
