Publishing Project Assistant

Job Description:

This role supports an entrepreneur engaged in content publishing and advocacy initiatives. You will play a key role in managing publishing workflows, coordinating document submissions, and providing editorial and administrative support across multiple projects. The position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating through regular verbal check-ins.

You will be involved in both creative and operational tasks, ensuring that written materials are polished, properly formatted, and successfully submitted across publishing and official platforms.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review, edit, and provide constructive feedback on written content, including books and advocacy-related materials

  • Format and publish completed books on the Amazon marketplace, managing the full submission process

  • Submit letters and documents to various government websites as part of advocacy initiatives

  • Organize and manage digital files across email, Dropbox, and other cloud-based platforms

  • Handle document uploads and technical coordination across devices and systems

  • Coordinate publishing workflows from draft through final submission across multiple projects

  • Participate in phone or Zoom review sessions to provide verbal feedback and collaboration

  • Support general administrative tasks related to publishing and content operations

  • Manage correspondence and follow-ups related to publishing and advocacy activities

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent English reading and writing skills with strong attention to detail

  • Experience using online platforms, including Amazon and government websites

  • Strong file management skills (Dropbox, email, cloud storage systems)

  • Clear verbal communication skills for phone and Zoom collaboration

  • Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions

  • Flexibility to accommodate occasional irregular work hours

  • Reliable internet connection and personal computer for remote work

  • Experience with publishing platforms or advocacy-related work is a plus

  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback while respecting final decision-making authority
