Overview

We are seeking a Legal Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic legal services company. This role serves as the operational backbone of the business, managing contractor relationships, client communications, and critical administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment, with exposure to the legal services industry.

Job Highlights

Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible within 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time
Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Work Arrangement: Work from home

Side Note:
As this is a permanent work-from-home Independent Contractor role, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are based on hourly rates.


Responsibilities

  • Manage data entry tasks and maintain accurate client records

  • Answer phones and handle professional client communications with attorneys

  • Perform light bookkeeping duties and maintain financial records

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with independent contractor process servers

  • Track critical deadlines and ensure timely completion of legal processes

  • Process and organize data from incoming emails and client correspondence

  • Make outbound calls to contractors and clients as needed

  • Oversee contractor scheduling and deadline management for time-sensitive legal work


Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills for deadline-driven work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for professional client interactions

  • Experience with data entry, email management, and basic bookkeeping

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Professional demeanor suitable for attorney and client communications
