Personal & Property Assistant
Overview
This role is for a Personal Assistant who will support both business property management tasks and personal scheduling for the Founder. It is an entry-level position ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to learn. Training on the property management software Rentec Direct will be provided.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidate must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on an hourly basis and may depend on performance during the application process.
Responsibilities
Property Administration:

Maintain lease agreements and handle lease renewals

Keep tenant files and personal documents organized and up to date

Track expiration dates for tax liens and deeds to ensure nothing is missed

Coordinate property inspections and maintain the inspection schedule

Contact vendors and partners to arrange necessary repairs and maintenance
Personal Assistance & Scheduling:

Organize and manage the Founder’s personal calendar

Coordinate family schedules, including doctor appointments and children’s activities

Assist with paying bills and maintaining a basic budget

Manage online ordering for household or business items as needed
Requirements

Language: Excellent communication in English (written & spoken) required; bilingual English + Spanish preferred

Organization: Strong ability to track dates, deadlines, and schedules

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems (Rentec Direct training provided)

Reliability: Trustworthy handling personal information, bills, and family schedules

Availability: Must be available to work 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time
