Property Management Assistant
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
- 40 hours per week
- Client time zone: Eastern time (Wytheville, VA)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Property Assistant to support our property and self-storage operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to properties and storage units, ensures accurate records are maintained, and coordinates with on-site staff when maintenance or follow-up is required.
The ideal candidate is comfortable handling customer calls, updating property management systems, and communicating clearly with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage inbound customer calls regarding:
- Residential properties
- Self-storage units (availability, access, basic inquiries)
- Provide accurate and professional information to customers while maintaining a friendly, service-oriented tone
- Maintain and update property and customer records in the property management system
- Log customer inquiries, requests, and follow-ups accurately
- Communicate with on-site staff and vendors regarding maintenance needs, repairs, or property issues
- Track maintenance requests and ensure they are properly documented and followed up
- Coordinate internally to ensure property and storage-related concerns are resolved efficiently
- Support general administrative tasks related to property and storage management as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or property management assistance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling phone calls with customers in a professional manner
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to accurately maintain records and documentation
- Comfortable learning and using property management software (DoorLoop experience is a plus)
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal staff and follow established processes
- Reliable internet connection, headset, and quiet work environment.
