Social Media Specialist (SaaS)

Job Description: You’ll be the creative voice behind an exciting AI company’s social media presence, combining your marketing expertise with hands-on product demonstration skills. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with leadership, learn cutting-edge AI technology, and create compelling content that showcases real-time conversation enhancement tools. You’ll help introduce the world to technology that’s changing how teams communicate and collaborate.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a content strategy for our SaaS/AI product launches, feature releases, and ongoing marketing efforts, ensuring content aligns with business goals and the target customer.

  • Produce a variety of product-based content, including but not limited to:

    • Product videos (screen recordings, demos, tutorials, feature explanations)

    • Social media posts and captions (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok)

    • Blog posts and articles (educational content, thought leadership)

    • Sales enablement materials (case studies, presentations, one-pagers)

    • Gated content (whitepapers, e-books)

  • Manage a content calendar to plan and organize the consistent release of content across all relevant channels)

  • Maintain a consistent presence on social media and relevant forums through community engagement (e.g. commenting, retweeting, etc), and responding to inbound inquiries to build trust and strengthen brand identity.

  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics (e.g. social media insights, engagement rates, conversions, etc) to assess effectiveness and refine future strategies.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and new content formats to keep marketing efforts fresh and engaging.

  • Collaborate directly with leadership to stay aligned on product updates and messaging

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy (including high-intent keywords & search opportunities) focused on product use cases, customer pain points, useful blogs, comparison pages, and more to drive qualified organic traffic.

  • Identify and develop distribution channels, ecosystem partnerships, and communities (e.g. newsletters, influencers, slack channels, etc) to extend the reach of Simplora into relevant ecosystems.

  • Build and manage email marketing campaigns that share product updates, feature releases, educational content, blog posts, and broader marketing announcements.

  • Craft paid media efforts on lean budgets to adapt product content into high-performing paid campaigns across platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, social channels, and community platforms.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms and creating engaging content
  • Strong technical skills for screen recording and product demonstration creation
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex SaaS/AI technology products
  • Experience creating viral content and targeting specific demographics effectively
  • Excellent written communication skills for authentic brand voice representation
  • Background working with US-based clients and understanding of US market dynamics
  • Bonus if you have experience with early-stage tech companies or SaaS products
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with rapid learning as new features are constantly released
