You’ll be the financial backbone of a fast-scaling education company that needs someone to bring structure and accuracy to their growing operations. Responsibilities
- Reconcile Xero accounting software daily and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform complex reconciliation between Xero accounts and the Ontraport CRM system
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies between sales orders and accounting entries
- Work through approximately two years of reconciliation backlog in a systematic manner
- Match transactions and identify inconsistencies using detailed transaction notes
- Handle monthly subscription revenue reconciliation for education services
- Manage accounting for trainer payments and operational expenses
- Provide financial insights to support business growth and strategic decision-making
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping operations with strong attention to detail
- Support multiple business entities under the company structure
Requirements
- Strong experience with Xero accounting software (essential)
- Proven bookkeeping experience, especially with complex reconciliation work
- Experience working with CRM systems (Ontraport experience is a bonus)
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Detail-oriented approach to manual reconciliation processes
- Experience with subscription-based or service businesses preferred
- Bonus: experience with multi-entity accounting structures
- Helpful: familiarity working with UK-based businesses
