Overview:
Our client is a premier digital design and development agency, seeking a meticulous and proactive Digital Project & QA Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless delivery of high-stakes digital projects. You will be the operational linchpin and quality guardian, orchestrating workflow from brief to deployment. Your mission is to safeguard our client's reputation for excellence by ensuring no detail is missed and no deadline is compromised.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Flow & Task Management:
- Own the project schedule, ensuring all tasks are accurately briefed, assigned, and tracked within the agency’s project management system (e.g., Asana, Jira).
- Proactively monitor project timelines, identify potential bottlenecks, and coordinate with team members to keep deliverables on track.
- Shepherd projects through their entire lifecycle—from development and QA to final deployment—ensuring seamless handoffs and clear communication at every stage.
Agency-Focused Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous, detail-oriented QA on all digital deliverables (websites, applications, etc.), with a critical eye for design fidelity, user experience (UX), and technical performance.
- Validate all work against creative briefs, Figma mockups, and technical specifications to guarantee pixel-perfect implementation.
- Systematically identify, document, and communicate bugs, visual discrepancies, and functional issues to developers using clear, structured reporting.
- Test all interactive elements, animations, and user flows to ensure a seamless and intuitive final product.
- Conduct final validation testing and provide approval for client handoff.
Coordination & Communication:
- Serve as the critical bridge between development teams and account management, providing clear, constructive, and professional feedback.
- Ensure all project documentation and statuses are meticulously maintained and visible to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Essential: Proven experience in a combined QA and project coordination role within a digital design, development, or marketing agency.
- An exceptional eye for visual detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect, user-centric digital products.
- Strong understanding of the web development lifecycle and the specific quality and timing challenges of an agency environment.
- Proficiency with standard agency tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Figma Dev Mode, BrowserStack).
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to both technical and non-technical team members.
- A proactive, self-managed attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote setting. You understand that if a project detail is missed, a deadline is at risk.
