Our client is seeking a polite, professional, and reliable CAD Drafter with strong experience in residential design, single-home drafting, and 3D rendering. In this role, you will bring architectural concepts to life through detailed drawings and high-quality renders, ensuring every plan meets industry standards and client expectations. You’ll work with ArchiCAD and supporting tools to produce accurate, organized, and timely outputs that support residential construction projects.

 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts for residential homes
• Ensure drawings meet all specifications, standards, and building codes
• Revise plans based on feedback from architects or clients
• Convert sketches and concepts into precise CAD drawings
• Produce high-quality 3D renders for client presentations and project approvals
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and related files
• Stay updated on drafting tools, software, and best practices
• Participate in virtual meetings with architects, designers, and stakeholders
• Deliver drawings and renders on schedule to meet project timelines

 

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field
• Proven experience designing single-family homes and producing 3D renders
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD and other drafting software
• High attention to detail and strong technical accuracy
• Ability to interpret complex architectural sketches and convert them into detailed drawings
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
• Solid understanding of residential building codes, standards, and regulations
• Polite, professional, and reliable work approach

 

Highly Regarded Skills

• Previous experience in residential architecture drafting
• Familiarity with additional 3D modelling tools
• Experience working remotely in a drafting capacity
