Digital Advertising Specialist (Google Ads & Meta)
Schedule:
- 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Melbourne Time with 1-hour unpaid break
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Google Ads & Meta Ads Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s digital advertising success. This position is critical to the growth and performance of the business, especially as the company transitions away from external consultants and focuses on building strong in-house marketing capabilities.
The ideal candidate has proven, hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns, with a strong track record of delivering measurable results. You will be responsible for developing strategies, executing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and continuously optimizing to achieve positive ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, and Retargeting
- Build and optimize Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, including prospecting, retargeting, and conversion-focused funnels
- Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, competitor analysis, and bid management.
- Monitor performance daily, ensuring campaigns meet KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Create testing frameworks (A/B tests) for ad creatives, landing pages, audience variations, and bidding strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve landing page performance and ensure consistent messaging across platforms. - Provide clear, data-driven reports and insights to management on campaign performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on platform changes, best practices, and emerging digital advertising trends.
- Manage advertising budgets efficiently and ensure spend alignment with forecasted targets.
- Troubleshoot performance fluctuations and develop solutions to maintain campaign health.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Experience running and optimizing Meta Ads campaigns for lead generation, ecommerce, or service-based businesses.
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and attribution models.
- Proven ability to scale campaigns while maintaining or improving ROAS.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
- Strong copywriting and creative direction skills for ads (preferred).
- Experience working with agencies, startups, or performance-driven companies is an advantage.
- Highly proactive, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
