You’ll take full ownership of financial operations, allowing the CEO to focus on product innovation and company expansion. This role is ideal for someone eager to build structured financial processes from the ground up while contributing to a breakthrough biotech company.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks
• Prepare accurate financial statements and leadership reports
• Handle daily accounting tasks currently managed by the CEO
• Maintain precise financial records and ensure compliance
• Support additional operational responsibilities as the company grows
• Collaborate with the CEO on financial planning and strategy
• Establish scalable accounting processes for a growing startup
• Monitor cash flow and financial health during the pre-revenue phase

 

Requirements

• 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (required for immediate impact)
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Bonus: CPA certification
• Plus: Startup or small business experience
• Enthusiasm for fast-paced, innovative work environments
