Digital Ads Specialist

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Sydney Time
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

 

Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Digital Ads Specialist to support the Digital Account Manager and wider digital team. This role is critical in managing paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google, ensuring a network of franchise locations receives high-performing, results-driven advertising.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable working with data, and experienced in making optimizations based on performance insights. While you will implement direction from the Performance Manager, the role also requires initiative, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to identify patterns and opportunities within campaign data.

 

Responsibilities

Paid Advertising Management

  • Assist with the setup, management, and optimization of Meta and Google advertising campaigns
  • Implement campaign updates, targeting adjustments, creative swaps, and bid/budget changes based on performance insights and direction from the Performance Manager
  • Ensure accurate campaign structure and naming conventions across accounts

 

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Review daily and weekly performance trends across assigned accounts
  • Identify underperforming areas and recommend actionable optimization strategies
  • Prepare performance breakdowns, summaries, and insights for internal review
  • Maintain tracking sheets, dashboards, and reporting documents as needed

 

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with the Performance Manager to execute optimization plans and testing frameworks
  • Communicate progress, findings, and required actions clearly and proactively
  • Follow internal processes and contribute to improving operational efficiency

 

Quality Control

  • Monitor ad approvals, disapprovals, audience delivery, budget pacing, and technical issues
  • Confirm that all creative assets, copy, and tracking parameters are implemented correctly
  • Ensure consistency with brand standards and advertising best practices across campaigns

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience running Meta Ads and/or Google Ads campaigns
  • Strong data interpretation skills, with the ability to analyze performance and implement strategic actions
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals including audience targeting, bidding strategies, attribution, and optimization metrics
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-account environments
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow direction while using initiative to solve problems independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4, Sheets/Excel, and reporting dashboards (a plus)
