Xero Bookkeeper - Education Services

  • Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Description: 

You’ll be the financial backbone for a dynamic education company that’s scaling fast and needs someone to bring order to its growing operations. This isn’t just about number-crunching—you’ll be solving puzzles, cleaning up processes, and creating the financial foundation that supports their expansion into new markets. You’ll work with modern cloud-based tools and have direct access to leadership, making a real impact on business decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile Xero accounting software daily and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform complex reconciliation between Xero accounts and Ontraport CRM system
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies between sales orders and accounting entries
  • Work through approximately two years of reconciliation backlog systematically
  • Match transactions and identify inconsistencies using detailed transaction notes
  • Handle monthly subscription revenue reconciliation for education services
  • Manage accounting for trainer payments and operational expenses
  • Provide financial insights to support business growth and decision-making
  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping operations with attention to detail
  • Support multiple business entities under the company structure

 

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Xero accounting software (essential)
  • Proven bookkeeping experience with complex reconciliation work
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Ontraport experience is a bonus)
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented approach to manual reconciliation processes
  • Experience with subscription-based or service businesses preferred
  • Bonus if you have experience with multi-entity accounting structures
  • It helps if you’re comfortable working with UK-based businesses
