A growing training and education company offering university-credit courses, expanding from institutional sales into direct-to-consumer marketing. You’ll also support the personal brand of an established author and speaker building an online presence for speaking engagements.

Role Summary

This is a hands-on, execution-focused digital marketing role centered on social media management, short-form video editing, visual asset creation, and sales funnel execution. The ideal candidate is highly operational, visually oriented, and comfortable building and managing campaigns—not primarily a copywriter or editor.

You will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives across social platforms, creating and editing video content, designing thumbnails and visuals, and building automated email and funnel workflows that drive engagement and conversions.

Core Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

  • Manage and execute social media content across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram

  • Edit short-form video clips for social media and promotional use

  • Create visual assets including thumbnails, graphics, PDFs, and marketing materials using Canva

  • Build, optimize, and manage sales funnels and automated email campaigns

  • Execute and manage email sequences tied to funnels and launches

  • Maintain content calendars and organize digital marketing assets

Secondary Responsibilities (Supporting)

  • Assist with WordPress updates and basic site management

  • Support webinar setup and event logistics as needed

  • Track performance metrics across social, email, and funnel campaigns

  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency in content production and campaign execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Social media execution and scheduling

    • Short-form video editing

    • Funnel building and email automation

  • Proficiency with Canva and visual content creation

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (GetResponse preferred)

  • Familiarity with project management tools, Google Workspace, and collaboration platforms

  • WordPress experience required

  • Comfortable working in an execution-driven, fast-moving environment

Important Clarification

This role is not primarily focused on copywriting or long-form content editing. While basic writing and editing skills are helpful, the core value of this position lies in media execution, visual content, automation, and campaign implementation.
