Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant
Schedule: Flexible within client business hours, 12 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant to support content distribution, audience engagement, and outreach initiatives. You will work closely with the content creator to ensure all content is refined, posted, and promoted across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone organized, tech-savvy, and confident engaging with both online audiences and external partners.
Responsibilities
Content Editing & Publishing
- Edit and prepare provided content for posting across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Ensure posts follow brand guidelines, maintain a consistent tone, and are optimized per platform
- Schedule and manage posts to maintain a regular, strategic content calendar
Audience Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and interactions on all social channels
- Respond to questions and engage with followers in a professional, friendly manner
- Track audience feedback and report trends or issues
Visual & Creative Production
- Create digital flyers, promotional graphics, and other marketing materials
- Produce short videos using supplied footage, adding edits, captions, and platform-specific formats
- Suggest creative ideas for new content based on trends and engagement metrics
Outreach & Promotion
- Contact businesses for advertising partnerships, collaborations, or promotional opportunities
- Coordinate outreach to potential podcast guests, send invitations, manage responses, and schedule appearances
- Assist in expanding brand visibility through strategic networking and communication
Requirements
- Experience with social media management tools and editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable reaching out to businesses and individuals in a professional manner
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Basic video editing experience
- Familiarity with podcast production or booking processes
- Understanding of social media analytics
