Car Finance Follow-Up Specialist

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (20 hours per week)

Job Description: 

You’ll be the friendly voice that bridges the gap between loan approval and car ownership, helping customers navigate the final steps of their financing journey. This isn’t about hard selling – it’s about genuine customer care, ensuring people have everything they need to drive away in their new vehicle. You’ll work with pre-approved customers who are already excited about their purchase, making this a rewarding role where you’re truly helping people achieve their goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contact approved finance applicants within 24 hours of loan acceptance to confirm continued interest
  • Clearly communicate any outstanding documentation requirements (driving licenses, pay slips, benefit statements)
  • Assess customer readiness and identify any barriers preventing them from moving forward
  • Transfer qualified, interested customers to senior team members for completion
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and status updates in company systems
  • Build positive rapport with customers throughout the follow-up process
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure smooth handoffs and customer experience

 

Requirements:

  • Previous client-facing experience within the UK market
  • Clear, professional English communication skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and building quick rapport with customers
  • Experience using CRM systems and calling platforms
  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer concerns
  • Professional phone manner suitable for financial services
  • Bonus if you have experience in automotive, finance, or customer success roles
  • It helps if you’re familiar with UK financial documentation requirements
