Client Overview
Our client is a global surf services platform gearing up for launch. They’re passionate about building a stable, scalable, and clean web platform, and we need a Laravel expert who can own the backend and drive architecture forward. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of our web platform using Laravel 9 (LTS).
- Work independently across backend tasks, with some frontend responsibilities (Blade, JS, HTML, CSS).
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with external services (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, SMS, analytics).
- Optimize performance via caching, queue workers, CDN, and profiling tools.
- Implement and maintain version control workflows using Git with branching strategies.
- Handle CI/CD processes and manage deployments.
- Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (architecture, API, database, deployment).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively, without needing constant direction.
