Job Description
You’ll be the backbone of project estimation and administrative operations for a dynamic construction company. This role puts you at the center of the business, where you’ll master cutting-edge AI-powered estimating software while managing essential documentation and client communications. Responsibilities
- Perform accurate construction project estimates using Creo AI-powered estimating software
- Manage comprehensive document workflows including quotes and invoices through Tradify platform
- Handle accounting tasks and maintain financial records using Xero accounting software
- Manage professional email communications with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Support general administrative functions related to construction project management
- Maintain organized project documentation and efficient filing systems
- Collaborate directly with business owner on project planning and execution
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all estimating and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Experience in construction estimating or strong administrative background with willingness to learn
- Proficiency with software applications and demonstrated ability to quickly master new platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail for precise estimating and document management
- Strong written communication skills for professional client correspondence
- Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred) or eagerness to develop these skills
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
- Availability during Australian business hours for seamless collaboration
- Bonus if you have experience with construction industry software or estimating tools
