Role Name: E-commerce Assistant
Schedule: Part-time - 2-3 hours focused on e-commerce development, remaining hours on social media management; must align with client business hours
20h per week - Monday to Friday 8 am to 12 noon PST

Client Overview: A growing family-owned pharmacy business that’s expanding beyond traditional services into innovative healthcare technology solutions, including medication kiosk installations in hospital systems. They have the vision and platforms ready to launch their digital presence but need dedicated expertise to execute their e-commerce and social media strategy.
Job Description: You’ll be the driving force behind a healthcare business’s digital transformation, taking their ready-to-launch e-commerce and social media initiatives from concept to execution. This isn’t about figuring out what to do – the strategy is clear and the tools are in place. You’ll have direct access to leadership who knows exactly what they want accomplished and will provide you with all the platforms and resources needed to succeed. This is your opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up while supporting a business that serves their community through both traditional pharmacy services and cutting-edge healthcare technology.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage Shopify e-commerce store to launch online product sales
- Create engaging social media content across Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook platforms
- Handle daily social media posting, scheduling, and content curation
- Respond to direct messages and manage community engagement across all platforms
- Repurpose existing content for maximum reach across different social channels
- Track and report on e-commerce setup milestones and social media performance metrics
- Work directly with business leadership to execute established marketing strategies
- Manage day-to-day digital marketing operations with minimal supervision required
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Shopify platform setup and management
- Strong digital marketing background with demonstrable results
- Portfolio showcasing graphics and content creation capabilities (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms simultaneously
- Excellent English communication skills for direct client interaction
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
- Bonus if you have healthcare or pharmacy industry experience
- It helps if you’re comfortable with WhatsApp and Zoom for regular communication
