Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 20 hrs/week (flexible, must have some overlap with Sydney time 10am–6pm AEST).
Role Overview
You’ll work closely with the founder to bring our content and marketing ideas to life — from planning and posting to engaging with our community and tracking results. This role is perfect for someone who loves beauty, design, and social media, and who takes pride in creating polished, on-brand content.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Coordination
- Schedule and post content on Instagram & TikTok (using provided videos/photos).
- Write captions that align with our brand tone — confident, luxe, and feminine.
- Design stories, carousels, and announcement graphics in Canva.
- Repurpose long-form videos into short, scroll-stopping Reels or TikToks.
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar around launches & trainings.
- Research trending sounds, filters, and beauty hashtags weekly.
Community & Growth
- Engage with followers — reply to DMs/comments and manage community chats.
- Track performance analytics weekly (reach, engagement, follower growth).
- Research competitor trends and suggest new creative content ideas.
- Help identify and contact influencers or UGC creators for collaborations.

Marketing Support
- Assist with email marketing campaigns via Flodesk or Klaviyo.
- Update Linktree links for launches, bookings, and attach video freebies.
- Help with Shopify product updates or visuals before launches.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience in social media management or marketing assistance.
- Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok trends (beauty industry a plus!).
- Excellent written English and creative copywriting skills.
- Proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, and ideally Flodesk or Shopify.
- Great eye for design, layout, and brand consistency.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
