Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the growth of an innovative HR consulting firm by converting warm prospects into qualified appointments. You’ll be working with a pre-qualified database of chief people officers and HR decision makers who have already received initial outreach through targeted LinkedIn campaigns. Your primary focus will be following up on these warm leads to gauge interest, answer questions about cutting-edge HR consulting services, and schedule meaningful conversations that can transform how businesses approach their people strategies. During downtime, you’ll also have the opportunity to generate new leads and expand the prospect database, making this a dynamic role with varied responsibilities that directly impact company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on warm LinkedIn prospects (approximately 500 contacts per month) to assess interest and answer questions about HR consulting services
  • Conduct professional outbound calls to engage prospects about CPO Connect and related HR solutions
  • Schedule qualified appointments between interested prospects and the consulting team
  • Generate new leads during downtime using specified criteria and industry directories
  • Collaborate with the client team on script development and process optimization
  • Track and manage all prospect interactions and appointment outcomes in HubSpot CRM
  • Maintain detailed records of prospect communications and follow-up requirements
  • Work directly with the client team to continuously improve conversion rates and appointment quality

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of appointment setting experience with proven track record of success
  • Lead generation experience and demonstrated ability to identify quality prospects
  • Understanding of human resources industry terminology and concepts (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot
  • Familiarity with phone dialer systems (Aircall experience beneficial)
  • Strong verbal communication skills for professional prospect conversations
  • Ability to work independently from a well-equipped home office
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach and follow-up processes
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working with Australian business hours and cultural context
