Job Description:

You’ll work closely with the principal accountant, who is committed to comprehensive training, ensuring you master the firm’s specific processes and systems.
Starting as a part-time role with clear growth potential to full-time within six months, this position offers the perfect blend of immediate contribution and long-term career development in the accounting field. You’ll handle essential administrative tasks that free up senior professionals to focus on high-value client work, while gaining valuable experience in accounting operations, bookkeeping, tax preparation workflows, and client management systems.
Note: Bookkeeping and accounting knowledge is required for this role, as you will be working directly with accounting data, tax documentation, and bookkeeping systems.
Responsibilities:

Execute precise data entry tasks for accounting and bookkeeping systems with meticulous attention to detail

Support the bookkeeping team during peak periods with accurate data entry and recordkeeping

Create and organize comprehensive workflow documents and tax planning organizers within the firm’s CRM

Transfer and copy information from existing templates into digital workflows following established protocols

Provide crucial administrative support that enables senior staff to focus on revenue-generating activities

Master the firm’s proprietary processes and methodologies through hands-on training

Support tax season preparation activities and general firm organization

Assist in managing digital records, forms, and client data with accounting relevance

Develop skills for potential future client communication responsibilities as you grow in the role
Requirements:

Demonstrated excellence in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices is required

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Quick learner with the ability to master new software systems and CRM platforms efficiently
