Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads, LinkedIn)

  • Mon-Fri, 9:00 to 13:00 CST

Description
We are looking for a hands-on, data-minded Performance Marketing Specialist to plan, launch, and improve paid
campaigns that generate qualified business inquiries for the firm. This is a part-time role for someone who can connect
media decisions to the full lead journey, from ad click to form submission, CRM follow-up, and booked Discovery Call.
You will work closely with the internal Marketing Lead, who owns brand direction, content production, the website, SEO,
and the structure of the GoHighLevel funnels and automations. You will bring paid acquisition expertise: choosing and
managing appropriate channels, setting up reliable conversion tracking, testing messages and audiences, and reporting
on lead quality. The initial channel mix should be recommended from business goals and evidence; Google Search and
LinkedIn are likely candidates, with Meta used selectively where it supports the strategy.
You're the perfect fit if you...
● Have hands-on experience building and optimizing paid lead-generation campaigns, especially for B2B or
professional services.
● Can explain campaign results in business terms and distinguish qualified opportunities from low-intent clicks or form
fills.
● Are comfortable with conversion tracking, UTMs, GA4, and Google Tag Manager, and can coordinate tracking across
ad platforms and the CRM.
● Know how to test audiences, keywords, offers, landing pages, and creative variations without making unsupported
promises.
● Can collaborate with a content and video team by writing clear ad and creative briefs, then using campaign data to
guide the next round of assets.
● Communicate clearly in English and can work independently within an agreed part-time schedule.
Primary Tasks
1. Recommend a paid acquisition plan tied to the firm's priority services, target audiences, budget, and lead goals;
explain which channels to test first and why.
2. Build, launch, and manage approved campaigns in Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and use Meta Ads
when it fits the agreed strategy.
3. Set up and verify campaign measurement, including UTMs, GA4 events, Google Ads conversion actions, and
relevant platform pixels or conversion events; coordinate implementation with the Marketing Lead or technical
support as needed.
4. Monitor spend and campaign performance on a consistent schedule; optimize targeting, search terms, bids,
placements, budgets, and creative tests based on evidence.
5. Coordinate with the Marketing Lead on ad copy, creative briefs, landing pages, forms, and the handoff into
GoHighLevel and the Discovery Call booking process.
6. Track lead progression with the team, including inquiries received, qualified prospects, calls booked, and meaningful
pipeline outcomes where data is available.
7. Provide a concise monthly report covering spend, campaign activity, conversion tracking health, cost per lead, lead
quality, booked calls, learning, and recommended next steps.

Secondary Tasks
● Research search intent, audience segments, competitor positioning, and relevant campaign opportunities.
● Recommend focused improvements to landing-page messaging or conversion flow based on campaign evidence.
● Identify opportunities for remarketing and audience re-engagement when traffic and consent requirements support
them.
● Maintain organized campaign naming, change notes, budget records, and documentation so the team can
understand decisions and results.
Ideal Requirements
● Demonstrated experience managing paid campaigns with lead-generation objectives.
● Practical proficiency in Google Ads and conversion measurement; experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager for
B2B audiences.
● Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTMs, and campaign attribution.
● Ability to evaluate lead quality and connect campaign reporting to CRM and sales outcomes.
● Strong analytical thinking, budget discipline, attention to detail, and clear written reporting.
● Good English communication skills for working with a U.S.-based firm and reviewing campaign copy.
● Able to work part-time, plan work independently, and communicate proactively with the internal Marketing Lead.
● Understands that campaigns for accounting, tax, and advisory services require accurate, careful claims and review by
the firm.
Nice to Have (Not a MUST)
● Experience marketing accounting, CPA, fractional CFO, M&A, tax, consulting, or other high-trust professional
services.
● Experience with U.S. audiences and long or multi-step B2B sales cycles.
● Experience with Meta Ads, remarketing, offline conversion tracking, or importing qualified lead outcomes from a
CRM.
● Familiarity with GoHighLevel, WordPress, Elementor, and landing-page conversion testing.
● Google Ads or platform certifications supported by practical campaign results.
Software & Skills
Google Ads • LinkedIn Campaign Manager • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Google Tag Manager (GTM) • UTM tracking •
Meta Ads Manager (as needed) • GoHighLevel CRM (coordination and lead-source visibility) • WordPress / Elementor
(landing-page review) • Looker Studio or equivalent reporting tool
