Social Media Assistant  | Digital Marketing & Camp Aggregation | Remote

Role Name: Social Media Assistant

Schedule: Part Time - 20h per week - flexible within EST business hoursClient overview

A fast-growing, early-stage camp aggregation platform that connects parent communities with quality youth activity and summer programs. Operating initially in Atlanta, Georgia, this startup is building towards expansion into new geographic markets and is formalising its marketing operations ahead of its next seasonal cycle. The business serves both B2C audiences — parents and families — and B2B partners including camp and program organisations, making consistent, premium branding essential to its growth strategy.

Job description

You will take ownership of the brand voice and digital presence for an ambitious startup at a defining moment in its growth. You will produce compelling visual and video content, build and execute social media strategies tailored to both family audiences and business partners, and manage email marketing pipelines that drive meaningful engagement. You will use tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track what's working and apply those insights to continuously sharpen the brand's reach. Working directly alongside the founder, you will help lay the marketing foundation that carries this platform from a single city to a national footprint — all from the comfort of a fully remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality visual and video content that establishes a consistent, premium brand identity across social media platforms
  • Develop and execute social media strategies for both B2C (parent communities) and B2B (camp partner organizations) audiences
  • Coordinate and manage email marketing communications to parent communities and camp partner pipelines
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for brand differentiation
  • Monitor website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to inform marketing decisions
  • Support general marketing coordination and back-office administrative tasks to facilitate business expansion

Must-have requirements

  • Proven experience in social media content creation with a strong, premium portfolio including video edits and graphics
  • Proficiency with design and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing social media for both B2C and B2B audiences, ideally within a startup environment
  • Strong visual design sensibility and understanding of brand aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, early-stage business
  • High level of attention to detail and strong written communication skills

Nice-to-have requirements

  • Bonus if you have experience in the education, youth programs, or family-facing consumer space
  • It helps if you have hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and CRM or pipeline tracking tools
  • Bonus if you have previously supported a founder or solo operator in building marketing operations from scratch

Why join this team

  • Fully remote role — work from anywhere with genuine schedule flexibility
  • Part-time start at 20 hours per week with a clear, structured path to full-time as the business scales
  • Work directly with the founder — your creative decisions shape the brand from day one
  • Real creative ownership across content, strategy, and campaigns — this is not an execution-only role
  • Ground-floor opportunity at an early-stage platform actively expanding into new markets
  • Long-term engagement potential as marketing needs grow alongside the business
