Social Media Coordinator (Padel, Footwear)

You will own social media for a brand across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. You will build an engaged padel community and product demand for a padel brand, while strengthening a footwear brand’s reputation and generating enquiries for its design, development and sourcing services.

The Role:

  • This is one hands-on, part-time role across two distinct brands.
  • Work with Carl and the design and sourcing teams, using separate accounts, brand voices, and reporting.
  • Proposed starting allocation: 14 hours per week for the padel brand and 6 hours for the footwear brand, reviewed monthly.
  • Agree on priorities and content volumes within the 20-hour weekly commitment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during the client’s business hours (UK Time, 20 hours per week)
  • Working pattern to be agreed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own a focused social plan for each brand and one coordinated calendar, prioritising the campaigns and channels most likely to deliver results within 20 hours per week.
  • Create and edit short-form video, copy, posts, Stories and carousels using supplied brand assets and agreed filming sessions. Batch production and adapt suitable content across platforms.
  • For the padel brand, build product, community, event and creator campaigns that drive engagement, sign-ups and sales.
  • For the footwear brand, turn approved projects, design processes, team expertise and factory insights into content that attracts suitable clients.
  • Manage comments and messages during agreed working hours; coordinate selected collaborations for the padel brand and route qualified enquiries for the footwear brand to the commercial team.
  • Coordinate website and email journeys, track campaign links and follow up lead handovers with the CEO.
  • Test content and calls to action; report growth, engagement, enquiries and commercial outcomes separately for each brand.
  • Manage permissions, disclosures and account access. Obtain consent before publishing client work or factory footage.
  • Support paid campaigns only where an agreed budget and time allocation are provided.

Channel Priorities

For the padel brand:

  • Instagram and TikTok lead consumer discovery, community and product demand. LinkedIn supports founder stories, business credibility, and club, retail, or commercial relationships.

For the footwear brand:

  • LinkedIn leads professional credibility and client acquisition. Instagram provides a visual portfolio and process stories.
  • Use TikTok selectively to test design and development content, without duplicating the padel brand’s consumer plan.

Experience and Capabilities:

  • Practical experience managing Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, including analytics, publishing and community engagement.
  • Ability to connect social activity to website traffic, subscriber growth and sales or qualified enquiries.
  • Ability to manage two brands, prioritise a shared workload and coordinate creators, designers and commercial colleagues.
  • Interest in padel, footwear and design. Experience with both consumer brands and business-to-business services is desirable.
  • Self-directed working style and clear communication. Attend agreed shoots and events within the weekly commitment; agree any additional hours in advance.

First 90 Days:

  • Weeks 1–2: Audit both brands and agree priority audiences, channels, approvals and success measures. Set a realistic publishing schedule within 20 hours per week, using existing assets and team support; establish campaign tracking and the footwear brand’s enquiry handovers.
  • Weeks 3–4: Establish the agreed publishing rhythm, begin prioritising the padel brand’s activity and footwear brand’s expertise content, and deliver a concise review for each brand.
  • Days 31–60: Refine the strongest content, progress selected creator collaborations and approved footwear brand’s project stories, and improve sign-up and enquiry conversion within the agreed workload.
  • Days 61–90: Review the padel brand’s growth and the footwear brand’s enquiries against the agreed measures. Recommend the next quarter’s priorities, adjusting channel activity and time allocation to the results.
