Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Pattern Maker with strong technical expertise in garment construction and Gerber pattern-making software. The ideal candidate will support the development and refinement of garment patterns, primarily focusing on denim pants, skirts, and dresses. This role requires someone who can collaborate remotely during live fit sessions, analyze garment details, and provide professional fit feedback.

Schedule: Remote Part Time | Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Pacific Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Create and modify garment patterns using Gerber software
• Analyze garment details and develop accurate technical specifications
• Write detailed garment specs based on design and construction
• Provide fit comments and pattern adjustments during live model fitting sessions via video conference
• Collaborate with the client and team to ensure proper garment construction and fit
• Work primarily on denim pants, skirts, and dresses
• Maintain organized documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the garment/fashion industry
• Strong proficiency in Gerber pattern-making software
• Solid understanding of garment construction and fit
• Experience creating technical specs from garment details
• Ability to provide fit analysis and pattern corrections
• Comfortable participating in live virtual fit sessions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience working with denim garments is highly preferred
• Fashion technical skill is a big plus.
